All Party Parliamentary Group on Learning Disability (APPGLD)
The All Party Parliamentary Group on Learning Disability (APPGLD) is a group of MPs and peers from all political parties who are interested in issues which affect people with a learning disability and their families.
The group is chaired by Tom Clark MP and Lord Rix, Mencap’s President. Representatives from the PMLD Network attend regularly.
We had one focused session on profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) in 2005.
