There are various organisations which run courses for those who support people with PMLD. Although we are unable to recommend courses we are happy to list course providers here. • Scope’s Voices through advocacy project is running free Non Instructed advocacy training for any advocate in England and Wales
• Mencap’s Getting To Know you project trains self advocates to speak up for people with PMLD
• Learning Disability Training runs a one-day basic introduction to profound and multiple disabilities
• The More than words training course helps you find ways to communicate well with people who have profound and multiple learning disabilities
