Launch of easyhealth.org.uk

The easyhealth.org.uk website has recently launched. It was created by Generate - a charity that works with people with mild or moderate learning disabilities - with funding from the Department of Health.

The aim of the website is to make it easier for people to find useful health information that is easy to understand.

It does this by bringing together good quality accessible health information from across the country, and putting it on to one website. People can then download the information they need.

People with profound and multiple learning disabilities often have many health needs and there is some really useful information on the site for people who support them as well as health professionals.

For example there are resources on person-centred planning and health action plans as well as leaflets on an A-Z of heath issues.
